Please note there are no other catering facilities onsite at Asilomar Conference Grounds to purchase meals, however there are limited snack items available within the onsite gift shop. Please book accompanying partners places via the conference registration form. Trip to Monterey Bay AquariumTrip to Monterey Bay Aquarium, Tuesday June 3, 2008 - US$58.50 per person The Monterey Bay Aquarium, which is located in a former sardine cannery on Cannery Row in Monterey, California is one of the largest and most respected aquariums in the world. It has an annual attendance of 1.8 million and holds 35,000 plants and animals representing 623 species. The trip to the aquarium departs from Asilomar Conference Grounds at 1.30pm on Tuesday June 3, 2008. The price includes transportation to and from the aquarium, entrance fee, express entry through group entrance. The visit is not organized as a tout and delegates are free to enjoy the facilities at their leisure. Please note: The coastal areas of Monterey County average 57°F year-round. It is a good idea to dress in layers as temperature and wind conditions may vary throughout the day and it can get cool, even during our visit in June. PaymentRegistration fees are payable in advance of the Conference. In order to expedite the registration process, please complete the registration form with your credit card details. Confirmation of your credit card payment along with registration confirmation documents will be sent to you by mail. If you do not receive confirmation of your registration 7 days prior to the event, please contact the conference secretariat. Alternative payment methods: Checks should be made payable to Elsevier and should be sent with your completed registration form. In order to pay by bank transfer, you will first require an invoice. An invoice will be sent to you by airmail upon receipt of a signed registration form completed with your contact details and registration details. The reverse side of the invoice provides Elsevier bank account details for transfer purposes. Please do not transfer fees until you have received your invoice. It is essential that you include your invoice number when instructing your bank. Please forward a copy of the bank transfer documentation to the conference secretariat. CancellationsSubstitutions may be made at any time but please advise the conference secretariat of a change of name. If you find it necessary to cancel the registration completely, please notify the Conference Secretariat immediately in writing. Provided written notice is received by April 18, 2008, a full refund will be given less a 10% administration fee. Provided written notice is received by May 2, 2008 a 50% refund will be given. It is regretted for registrations cancelled after May 2, 2008, or for no-shows at the Conference, the full fee (100% cancellation charge) will be payable. In the unlikely event that Elsevier shall deem it necessary to cancel the Conference, all pre-paid registration fees will be reimbursed. Elsevier shall not be liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation arrangements made by individual delegates. ChangesDetails are correct at the time of going to print.
