Kazuhiro Ikenaka, National Institute for Physiological Sciences, Japan
Dr. Kazuhiro Ikenaka received his B.Sc. in 1975 and his Ph.D. in 1980, and is currently Professor and Chairman at National Institute for Physiological Sciences (NIPS), Natural Institutes of Natural Sciences. He is also a member of Advisory Committee for Programming and Management of NIPS, and director of Okazaki Institute of Integrative Biology. He is actively involved in the scientific fields of Neurochemistry and Developmental Neuroscience. He is currently the treasurer of International Society for Neurochemistry and contributed significantly to the establishment of Annual Meeting for Japanese Developmental Neuroscientists.
